About us – EduMoya
Education with Heart and Soul | Wild Coast Inclusion & Language Center
Hello, I am Theresia Steckel, founder of EduMoya. A few years ago, I traveled to Namibia to complete my practical teaching training at a state school in Tsumeb. There, I had the opportunity to teach German in various classes and experience how much it means to children when you treat them with genuine attention, enthusiasm, and creative methods.
Even then, it became clear to me that teachers need new ideas, tools, and courage to sustainably support and inspire children. At the same time, I realized how important it is to offer adults practical language courses—whether for pleasure, for career opportunities, or for integration into German-speaking countries.
Perhaps my most formative encounter was in South Africa with a blind young surfer. She felt the waves, laughed—and that moment made me realize how few inclusive opportunities children with disabilities have here. This experience led to the creation of EduMoya: an educational center that combines language, creativity, inclusion, and environmental awareness.

Hello, I am Lea Hampe and I am delighted to be supporting Therese’s holistic educational concept at EduMoya with my many years of work experience, which I gained as an HR business partner and sales manager in an international corporation.
Theresia and I met in Namibia in 2024, shortly after I spent several months in South Africa working on a non-profit social project that gives children from townships a better future through education, psychological support, and surfing lessons.
Here, I was able to experience first-hand how important it is for children to not only have positive role models, but also an educational concept that has a holistic impact on their lives.
That is why I firmly believe in the philosophy and creative educational concept of EduMoya – a place where children with disabilities can not only learn in an inclusive and creative environment, but also flourish in new ways. A place where adults can continue their education in a safe and mindful environment. A place where children and adults, teachers and students can learn from and with each other. A place that can become a second home for all guests.

Hello everyone! I’m Roc Raga, from Barcelona, currently traveling around the world discovering new places, cultures, and people. You could say traveling is one of my biggest passions.
I’m really into sports. From 2021 to 2025 I studied Sports Science, specializing in adapted sports. In my free time, I love outdoor activities, especially board sports like surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, skiing and more…
I really enjoy being outside and connecting with nature, but the place where I feel most at home is by the sea. I love the smell of the ocean and the salty air.
So let’s enjoy the day together and make some great and unforgettable memories.
