Inclusive surfing, creative, and exercise program for children

The EduMoya Surfing & Inclusion Workshop is a multi-day, holistic program for children with and without disabilities. The goal is to promote self-confidence, social skills, and inclusion through surfing, exercise, creativity, and community.
The program combines adaptive surfing methods, pedagogically supervised activities, and a safe, loving environment—individually tailored to the needs of the participating children.
Program structure & group model
- Daily structure (4-day program)
- Arrival & building trust Welcome, safety briefing, icebreaker games, evening get-together
- Surf basics & nature experience Adaptive surf sessions, theory on the beach, water and safety exercises
- Creativity & body awareness Horse riding (flow & balance), creative workshop, music & rhythm
- Reflection & conclusion Feedback rounds, gratitude circle, optional final surf session
Contents & Focus Areas
- Adaptive surfing lessons (including equipment and water safety)
- Morning yoga and self-care
- Creative, music, and rhythm workshops
- Pedagogically guided group processes
- Strengthening self-confidence, motor skills, and social competence

- Buddy system: Children with and without disabilities learn and surf together

The long-term goal is to establish a sustainable, inclusive surfing program that embraces diversity as a strength.
